Sonningdale was founded as a technical consultancy company specialized in the engineering and construction of flat bottom atmospheric storage tanks of any kind and shape.
Sonningdale was established in January 2013 to merge several organizations that were already on the storage tanks market for a long time. This allowed us to deliver a wider range of services in EPC projects for storing facilities, combining multiple skills.
In 2015 Sonningdale was fully acquired by PARESA S.p.A. and began to set aside the construction activities in favour of its growth as an engineering company specialized in low-temperature and cryogenic tanks and as a consulting company giving technical assistance on storage tanks.
In these last years, we consolidated our expertise and specific know-how, in particular by focussing on low-temperature and cryogenic storage projects. Our solutions are strongly affected by our former experience as a construction company which we continue to implement by providing specific standalone erection services such as “Roof air Lifting”, inspections, testing and commissioning, managed and planned scrupulously, leaving little room for improvisation.
Our people are our main asset. Sonningdale’s Designers, Technicians and Engineers are trained to work together as a team, sharing their expertise to overcome the daily challenges.
Our roots are in Italy, but passion drives us worldwide: we travel even in challenging contexts, carrying our know-how directly on site with our luggage made of deep knowledge!
The storage solutions we deal with are mainly related to the Oil & Gas and the Chemical fields; we are used to working in these complicated contexts.
From storage farms, through refineries, to large international construction sites, we offer our know-how to our clients, working side by side with them.
